ScanCraft does not collect, store, or share any of your personal data. Period.
ScanCraft does not collect any personal information. We do not require accounts, logins, or registrations. All scan history and QR code creations are stored locally on your device only.
ScanCraft requests camera access solely to scan QR codes and barcodes. Camera data is processed on-device in real-time and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted to any server.
ScanCraft may request access to your photo gallery solely to save QR code images you create. Images are saved locally to your device only and are never uploaded to any server.
When you scan a product barcode, ScanCraft may send the barcode number (not your personal data) to the Open Food Facts API to retrieve product information. This is an open-source, non-commercial database. No personal information, location data, or device identifiers are transmitted.
All data (scan history, created QR codes, settings) is stored locally on your device using standard on-device storage. This data is never uploaded to any server or cloud service.
ScanCraft does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising networks, or tracking services. We do not use cookies, fingerprinting, or any other tracking technology.
The only external service used is the Open Food Facts API for product barcode lookups, which receives only the barcode number.
ScanCraft offers optional premium features through Apple's App Store and Google Play. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple/Google. We do not have access to your payment information.
ScanCraft does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The app does not require any personal information to function.
